Advocating for Design Thinking

Since joining M&T Bank in 2023 I've supported Commercial Banking in the Treasury Management space, and most recently Loan Servicing.

As the Commercial Bank matures in its view of the value of design, this has allotted me the unique opportunity of often being a business partner's first experience with activities like design thinking workshops, user research, end-to-end strategy, and even UI recommendations. 

While challenging at times, it's equally invigorating to bring along stakeholders of all levels and in-turn influence how Design shows up in support of business goals. This is reflected in the wide array of work I've tackled in my time here, where the journey to the artifact is just as important as the design recommendation itself.
